Hi there! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Tomi Adetayo. I am a teacher, lecturer, children’s picture book author, drummer and photographer. Let me tell you a little more about me.
I absolutely love early years education, and I have spent the last 16 years teaching and most recently lecturing in early childhood education. But before teaching ever happened I was a graduate in Electrical Engineering from City St George’s, University of London. To be honest, I didn’t really want to be an Engineer, it wasn’t my calling, so I embark on another journey which has been the most rewarding thing I could have ever done: TEACHING!!!
I enrolled for a PGCE at Goldsmiths, University of London and later a Master’s Degree of Early Years Education at UCL Institute of Education, University College London.
My journey into childhood education deepened and I took a leap of faith by moving abroad. So far, I have taught in London (UK), Tabuk (Saudi Arabia), Salmiya (Kuwait), Abu Dhabi and Dubai (UAE).
I have had the privilege of teaching children from various backgrounds and experiences, and I have learned that all children deserve the right to good education, to develop and become global citizens. Unfortunately, many children are at a disadvantage and do not have this fundamental human right.

These sessions are not only engaging but also plant seeds of compassion and understanding that can grow with them over time.
