I like this story and my 4y/o can relate. Dele the protagonist is such a fun boy who seek to live life to the fullest in spite of the limitations around him. Truly you can be a hero for someone if only you can step out of your shell.
I got this book for my kids and cannot wait for Dele’s next adventure!!!!! Children get bored really easily but when they like a book, they can ask you to read it a million times until it is worn and tattered! This is one of those books. The story is captivating and leaves you wanting to know what happens next.
Loved the story and how the book was written and designed in terms of the drawings got 2 copies for my friend’s kids. You rock Tomi and can’t wait for the second book.

I thoroughly recommend this brilliant book. The themes running through it are a great tool to help children have an awareness and understanding of Homelessness, Triumphing over bullying, Friendship, Empathy, Hope and Resilience are beautifully woven into this lovely story. Well done to the author and illustrator.
Great book for kids. This book was well written and my boy was really engaged with the story.
This book is a nice and easy read. It's packed with lots of subtle but impactful messages such as being courageous, polite and thankful, whilst also illustrating the real-life story of a street kid.
They found it interesting and had a few questions about street children. It sparked an interesting conversation about children who are poor and may not have the opportunities they have to live in a warm house etc. Lovely book. I highly recommend it.
